Oulu - a city in the north of Finland. As the camping site we stayed at was a bit outside of the city, we walked there through snow and rain to the city. To warm up again we went to kauppahalli (market hall) to have a cup of coffee and then strolled on through the city center. I really like Oulu, because it has more of a town/city feeling and is nice looking. Our next aim were the fortress ruins. There wasn't really much to see there because of the snow. But we built a snowman, Jorges first ever! Then we continued on through the park to the science museum. It's a hands on museum approach were you can try out (almost) everything and learn a lot.
On the way back we bought dinner and saved an old lady from waiting half an our for her bus at the wrong stop and got a chance of hearing her talk German quite fluently ;)
The evening we spent leisurely in the Sauna and later exploring Oulu's nightlife.
